Chrysocolla is a quartz-based gemstone that is found in copper mines in the Southwestern US as well as Russia. The oxidizing copper provides the intense blue and green hue. This stone darkens with age, taking on a more translucent property. Some jewelers sell a version of chrysocolla that is heavily veined and mottled, ours is clean and clear- this is referred to as 'gem silica' and is much longer-wearing and valuable than what is often seen.

This stone is a squared oval, 12 x 8mm. The color is an intense cerulean blue with just partial opacity. Immediately beside the stone sits a large baguette diamond weighing appx 0.15ct. Down one side of the intricately worked band you will find another diamond baguette, this one weighs 0.05ct. Total diamond weight for the ring is 0.20ct.

Part of our 'Underground' series, this ring was inspired by lengths of conduit running along the subway tunnels. Cast in 18k yellow gold, it is a heavy and substantial piece.

Square in shape, which conforms naturally to the finger, this ring is incredibly comfortable. It is not sizable due to its unique detailing.

14mm wide at the widest point, appx 12mm at the base.

Completely one of a kind.

This item is part of the Structured Collection

The Structured Collection

The Structured Line has a grand build and symmetry. The pieces in this collection are often large, standing tall and proud off the hand or neckline. Clean, architectural lines are the most common theme, inspired by Art Deco and even Prairie School designs. These pieces are often solid and heavy, made for years of wear.

Many Structured pieces are one of a kind, and rather complex to rebuild. If you see a design that you absolutely love, we highly recommend adding it to your collection before someone else snaps it up.
