A single tulip holds a one carat rose-cut chocolate diamond. Delicate leaves wrap around the stone to hold it in place, and curling stems arc out and away from the bloom. A bit of bulb on the bottom holds a second diamond, also pear shaped, but traditionally faceted instead of rose cut.

The main diamond is a lovely hazy brown color with some natural color zoning. Because it falls into the fancy color zone, there is no color rating, but the grade is SI2. It weighs 0.96ct, and is set securely in the prong and leaf design.

The second diamond weighs 0.12ct and is very white and clean. This is also set deeply into the design, hidden when on the finger, but peeking out when the hand is moved just right. It is one of our treasure stones- there simply as an accent to be discovered, rather than a centerpoint of design.

The ring is hand cast in 18k yellow gold, we felt that the rich tone of the diamond needed an equally rich shade of metal. Design is completely one of a kind. Not sizable due to the design.

Swirling eddies of water, broken bits of twig, the foam on the edge of a tidal pool... these are forms repeated in the Organic collection. Lines that appear to have grown on your finger, soft and hard edges in contrast to our brick and sawmill confined lives.

This design line often overlaps other lines, such as the Root Ring or the Raw Gemstones. You might be surprised at how comfortable these are to wear, with beveled inside shanks on the rings, sandblasted or satin brushed backs on necklaces, and a bend towards the softened line. There are often little hidden 'treasure' stones sprinkled throughout the pieces.
