Our Rose Garden is, to date, our most popular collection. In the modeling process, each petal is hand-formed, each leaf vein is etched in with 5X magnification. We do all of this work right here in Northern Michigan, where the summers are short and glorious, and we need a bit of floral inspiration to last us through the wicked winters!

The petal and leaf components are then sometimes molded, allowing us to rebuild specific rose parts over and over. This helps us keep many items in the Rose collection affordable. Some roses (and other blossoms) are still one-off items, and these are all marked, as they are collector's items. The vine bands and curling trellises of detail are also hand-formed, many of the curls following a natural Fibonacci sequence in diameter and bend.

Custom work in the Rose line is welcome, but many custom pieces will cost more than the original items shown. The reason for this is the same as in any design field: ready-to-wear items will always cost less than made-to-order couture. Our Vintage series has a touch of Victorian, a dash of Rococo, and even a bit of Etruscan- sometimes all mixed! Most pieces are designed and made by us, while some were actually molded from existing antique pieces in order to preserve a bit of art history.
