Gem silica Chrysocolla is actually a variety of fine Chalcedony. The color- an intense cyan with banding in cerulean and teal- deepens over time as one wears the stone. There is a bit of translucency to the gem- just enough to catch and hold light. It is one of our very favorite stones, and extremely difficult to come by the intense, solid color in this ring.

While 'regular' chrysocolla is a Mohs hardness of appx 4, the chalcedony version is a 7.5 and very durable. This piece has been bezel set low to the finger for even more lengthy wear.

The melted, torn and sandblasted design is one of a kind, although one of our signature techniques. The stone itself measures 15mm x 7mm, and the band is 22mm (7/8") at its widest point, tapering down to a comfortable 7mm on the bottom and one side.

This ring is only sizable by 1 size down and up to 2 sizes up. It currently fits an 8 (give or take a 1/4 size, as these rings go) very comfortably. Equally elegant for a man or a woman.

The design is sandblasted in the low regions and high polished on the edges and the bezel top. Artist initialled inside. Sterling silver.
