Sarah is a little obsessed with the Art Nouveau period, especially the intricate doorways and Metro stations of early twentieth century Paris. It was one of these doorways that inspired her sculpture of this piece- rolling, scrolled asymmetrical forms. She used an opal for the centerpiece, a long, irregular opal with flashes of yellow, pink, blue, and green. It weighs 1.81cts and is an utterly unique stone. Sterling silver design swirls around the opal and kisses back on itself, accented with a round diamond top and bottom. The diamonds are set in delicate bezels, and weigh a total of 0.10ct. Hung from a silver chain. Design is one of a kind.
