Wise Willows Moss Agate Necklace in Silver

Every piece of moss agate is utterly unique, making it one of our favorite minerals to work with. Despite its name, the stone contains no organic substance, but ribbons of manganese, iron oxide, and other elements, trapped in the agate gem matrix. A talented stonecutter can reveal the best patterns within the gemstone, giving you a stone that will be enchanting each time you look at it.

This cabochon oval looks like delicate willow leaves were captured around the edges. It runs east to west, surrounded by a textured bezel setting. Less than 1/4" in thickness, measures 35 x 14mm, elegantly elongated. Hand raised beads decorate the bezel edges, and two loops affix the necklace securely. The neckwire has a slight flex and lays nicely against the collarbone. Crafted in sterling silver.
