A couture piece that is sure to be the center of every conversation when worn.
Measuring nearly 4" in width, this one of a kind dragonfly necklace won't fly away, he'll adorn your collarbone instead.
Sarah was inspired by the shape of the opal- it looked so much like a dragonfly wing, shimmering vivid rainbow.
The opal was mined and cut in Queensland, Australia. Weighing 31.81 carats, it is ribboned with pinks, greens, orange, and yellow. It measures 47 x 16mm and is appx 4.5mm thick.
The body and the opposite wing is studded with a pastel sweep of natural gemstones: aquamarine, ceylon and peach sapphire, peridot, imperial and blue topaz, tanzanite, and tourmaline.
Cast in sterling silver and fitted with a hand-dapped sterling chain. Designed and sculpted by Sarah J Christenson, 2021
