You do you, without worry. Rest assured you’re protected from the unexpected.
The JM Care Plan is only available through participating jewelers. We're so proud to offer this care to our clients! When your purchase jewelry, ask us to add the JM Lifetime Care Plan.CAN I GET COVERAGE FOR LOSS AND THEFT, TOO?
While a JM Care Plan provides peace of mind when your jewelry is well loved (worn down from much use) and/or damaged, it does not include coverage for loss and theft. See below for additional protection options.HOW MUCH DOES A JM CARE PLAN COST?
The price of a JM Care Plan depends on which type of plan you choose and the value of what you’re protecting. Ask us for pricing details.ARE ROUTINE INSPECTIONS REQUIRED TO MAINTAIN COVERAGE?
All required care, maintenance, and inspection services specified in your item’s original manufacturer’s warranty must occur to maintain coverage. This can vary depending on the manufacturer. Wexford Jewelers asks that have your piece inspected every 6 months to remain under warranty.HOW DO I FILE A CLAIM?
Within the first 14-30 days of purchase, return your item to us for replacement. After 14-30 days, contact us to initiate a claim. We take care of it from there! All repairs and replacements are handled at our repair facility. Jewelers Mutual is a national company. If for any reason we are no longer available (perhaps in the event of closing up shop to move to Tahiti), you may contact JM directly. You must have your receipt and JM Care Plan brochure as proof of coverage.HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE FOR MY CLAIM TO BE SETTLED?
As soon as something happens to your jewelry, initiate your claim with us and we will handle your claim as quickly as humanly possible. Our goal is to get your jewelry restored as soon as possible so you can wear it and enjoy again!
WILL MY ITEM BE REPAIRED OR REPLACED?
Your item will be repaired, assuming the damage is repairable, so long as the cost to repair does not exceed the cost of the original product. Otherwise, it will be replaced.
I CAN’T FIND MY RECEIPT. NOW WHAT?
Your receipt and JM Care Plan brochure are your only record of having purchased coverage. You may ask us for a digital copy of the receipt to be emailed to you for a virtual proof of purchase, and we also will have record in our POS system of your JM care plan purchase. So we will always have a record on file, and will always process every claim for you without ever having to deal with any paperwork. However, should you ever need to file a claim with JM directly, you will need that proof of purchase.
