Standing tall and sharp, the Dolomites Mountains are some of the most impressive peaks in the world. They are green in the summer and golden in autumn.
Inspiring us more than once, these Italian wonders are captured in this little pendant. We've set a jagged peak of raw green tourmaline into a golden setting, with the gold wrapped gently around the stone and extending beneath as well. There are three step-cut square diamonds set below the tourmaline, and one set into the custom sculpted bail as well. Total diamond weight is a quarter carat, and the main gem weighs 5.4 carats.
The stone is completely raw- unfaceted and unpolished. It is a glorious minty shade of green, with a gradient fading to white near the top. You can see the crystal planes and internal imperfections clearly. The setting is hand carved, with polished gold showing in beads and flowing lines.
