Utterly unparalleled and unique! This colorful ring features a two carat Queensland opal with ribbons of lavender, yellow, green, and orange. Set in a triple claw prong mounting, the prongs then curl and loop into the vine pattern band. Opposite this opal is a stunning step cut trapezoid sapphire in a luscious lavender color. Sapphire weighs 0.90 carat and is sourced from a fair trade owner-operator Umba Valley mine in Tanzania. It is set in a sleek five prong mounting that flows smoothly into a knife-edge band echoing the stone's planes and angles.
Crafted in solid 14k rose gold, this ring is a juxtaposition of organic and sleek, open on top to showcase the contrasting designs. The opal measures 12.2 x 8mm, weighs 2cts, was mined and cut by a woman-owned operation. The natural sapphire was chosen to pick out the complementing lavender tones in the opal. It measures 8.5 x 4.2mm. Ring is currently just over size 7, and can be adjusted from 7 to 8 as is, or we can size it to your specifications upon ordering. The band is thick and sturdy on the bottom, built to last.
