Large Sugar Skull Calavera Silver Ring is covered in intricate detail-high cheekbones, rosebud eye sockets, and detailed teeth. A daisy is sculpted in raised relief on the crown of the head and bead work features all over the head and band. The skull serves as a memento mori- a reminder that our lives are short and this is the end for us one and all. Sugar skulls are also used to honor our loved ones who have now passed on.
